We partnered with The Custom Cover Store to deliver & execute a comprehensive go-to-market strategy. The brief was straight forward: to create a new B2C/DTC revenue stream that levered their existing wholesale infrastructure supplying bbq & furniture covers to Australia’s big box retailers.
Our approach was both simple & thorough: An analysis of the competitive landscape, a brand strategy that highlighted their unique proposition, and a plan to cover the world…
We developed & built a new wordpress (woo-commerce) store, allowing users to personalise a perfect-fit outdoor cover. Users can select a suitable cover style, enter multiple sets of dimensions to the centimetre, receive a real-time quote and ultimately, order instantly.
Once road-tested & integrated with their existing back of house systems, we cranked up their marketing, delivering new customers on the hunt for a cover that actually fit their outdoor products, rather than buying off the shelf. ROAS was a key metric, along with ensuring conversion rates were high.
We devised a marketing strategy, with a channel mix of social advertising + search engine marketing; while working towards developing SEO best practice and techniques that delivered longer term organic traffic.
